Rifugio Guido Rey provides bar and restaurant sevice on every opening day at official C.A.I. rates. Our philosophy is to choose local products as much as possible
In our restaurant we offer you cheese, cold cuts and meat produced in the Valley, the best stone ground corn floor from Canavese, season fruit and vegetables chosen from the local producers and Oulx market. We are very choosy about wine and we only serve the best from Alba region (the very best of Piedmont), since we are aware that in the mountains we enjoy to indulge to a good glass of wine.
The menus of Rifugio are typical of the Alpine region. You will always find polenta made of slow cooking, hand stirred corn floor, that goes with cheese, meat dishes or sausages; local cheese and cold cut platters are always ready. Our desserts are home made.
We care for our guests and we are happy to answer to any special requests, such as vegetarian or vegan menus. Let us know about specific food allergies and we will make you enjoy “safe” and still tasty food. And, of course, children are welcome as well.
At Rifugio we provide a bar with fresh soft drinks, special beers and ales from local brewpubs, selected alccol and sandwiches.
